Events: Fashion Night Out LA

I can't believe how quickly Fashion Night Out came and went- It feels like it was just yesterday that I was freaking over what to wear and now we are in full Fashion Week Month with events, fashion shows and everything in between. So what is a girl to do?? Fill you in all the fun details before the next event pops up and I completely miss to inform you (which unfortunately I have been very much so guilty of in the past!)

Let me start off by letting you know that I spent my FNO evening with some of the most fabulous fashion bloggers out there, ladies and gents with the best attitudes and just an overall fun group. Of course I am talking about the Two Point Oh LA Team!!! I was fortunate to be picked to participate in the Uber Fashion Night Out- where the awesome Uber Car Service (you should really check them out), drove us around from retail location to location letting us enjoy the evening with no driving/parking troubles. I have to tell you- I got really comfortable, really quick in that black lincoln town car, by the end of the night I was dreading driving my mini home, Ha! Fortunately everything went on without any trouble the car service was prompt, the drivers were friendly and I would overall recommend the service to anyone looking for a quick ride around the city. Especially on a busy night out like FNO.

So, even before we made it on to the town car, I met up with my two point oh team for the night- my good friend Ari from La Catrina de La Moda and the adorable Marla from Marlita on The Run (if you haven't yet, you must check out these girls- they are fab) First stop of the night? The Beverly Center- which really was a FNO extravaganza with door to door events, red carpet and runway shows. If you have never done FNO, this really is the place to do so since EVERYBODY and their mama was there. With 5 additional stops on the schedule, there really wasn't much time to be spent here. We took a walk around and then headed to the next equally if not more exciting stop....

And then there was NEIMAN MARCUS.

O M G, I have to say- Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills just kicked EVERYONE in the butt for FNO. Set up with front row seats to their multi level fashion show, delicious treats, designer interviews, exclusive previews and cucumber martinis (I mean, I am still dreaming those martini's)- The Neiman Marcus team was just fabulous to us- they were helpful, accommodating and just an overall joy to be around. They executed a great evening that included everyone which showed to the event from bloggers to customers to vendors. Bravo, well done and I can not wait until the next event!!

After a couple of drinks and cream puffs it was time for us to venture off to the next spot. Off we went to West Hollywood to visit Kelly Wearstler, Helmut Lang, Alexander McQueen and hopefully DVF with a final stop at All Saints. Sadly- because of traffic and long lines- we were only able to make it to about half these spots- we made the most of what was left of the evening and enjoyed the music being spun, drinks being poured and the always amazing art in the form fashion which was on display.

All in all, it was a great night! I got to see some old friends, make some new ones, network and truly enjoy this city and everything that I love about the fashion industry. Here are a couple of other shots with Marla, Ari and I rolling around in our town car and just enjoying ourselves. With fashion week, fall concepts and so many other events coming up- I look forward to sharing as many as possible with you guys!!

xoxo

  6. On the escalator? That's really cool. I've never been to a real fashion show, just ones in college, so I'm jealous.

  8. Lucky you! I can tell that you had a blast. By the way, for the pictures and logos that you have in the right bar of this blog, if you want them to be in the center of the side bar, just place before each code this part: The <> signs, between the signs write the word CENTER. Suerte!
