It's always great to get invites to fashion events, it's even more wonderful when it's for a collection you are truly excited about and can see yourself wearing. A couple of weeks ago I was privileged enough to get a preview to the Nicole Richie collection and wow, was I impressed with the pieces she decided to go forward with. With studs, bold prints, pleather and lace- she used a combination of silhouettes and fabrics that would be fitting to the mass market. My absolute favorite piece has got to be the peacock printed dress with lace cut outs at the waist, black sheer sleeves and heavy metal zipper back. I loved it so much- I had to buy it, lol. My second fav piece- that I wasn't able to get because the girls just did not fit in it- was the Pleather studded A line dress I am holding (to the right). Sigh... I've been looking for a dress just like this for years- it's too darn bad!! Anywho, if your local Macy's is carrying the collection- I highly suggest you check it out as there really is something for everyone in it.Monday, September 24

Pity the girls got in the way of your dream dress, but look at it this way, you're still at the point of life where you can still dream about it. BB on the other hand just dreams the girls would stop banging her knees every time she walks. ; )
ReplyDeleteLoving the long dresses. BB2U
Omg BB, I am laughing so hard rigt now!!! Lol
DeleteLOLOL...I am laughing at BB's comment. I do love Nicole's style, the clothes are so pretty. Not sure they will suit my body type though, I have a bit (a lot more than a bit actually) of a pansa and dresses look terrible on me. But I can always dream!
ReplyDeletegirrrrrrl I have pansa and BOobs and I fit a size 12. Hope you can find something that works for you in the collection as well!!!

ReplyDeletewow, all of these pieces look awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I feel about this collection. It's a little too...country? I don't know. She has eclectic taste and I'm not a huge fan of patterns.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to see the collection. There's a moto jacket I have my eye on. Did you see it? The sleeves are faux fur. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI did not see it!!! guess i'll just have to take another trip over to Macy's!!!
